Getting access

RunMyB is in closed beta. There is no public sign-up form on this site and no self-service account creation. Every account is opened one at a time, by us, for a person we have invited. This page explains how that works, so that nothing you receive from us is a surprise.

How to ask

Write to hello@runmyb.com from the address you would want an account on, and tell us what you would build. That is the whole process. We read every message. We cannot promise access, and we do not keep a queue you can check — if the beta is not open to you yet, we will say so.

What happens if we invite you

  1. We reply from a person, at runmyb.com, and agree with you that you want an account.
  2. We create the account for the address you gave us. Your first sign-in details come from our identity provider's own invitation message, sent from that provider's address, or directly from us in the conversation we are already having — not from a RunMyB mail domain. You set your own password at first sign-in.
  3. You sign in to the platform console at app.runmyb.com and accept the Terms and the Privacy Policy. The console is not open to anyone without an account — there is nothing to see there until you have one.

We never ask for a password by email, and no email from us will ever ask you to send one.

One thing that will look odd, so we are saying it here first. While the beta is closed, our mail platform sends only to addresses that have been confirmed in advance. That means the very first message about your account may arrive from Amazon Web Services, our mail provider, asking you to confirm your address — not from us. It is genuine. If you are unsure, forward it to support@runmyb.com and we will confirm it before you click anything.

What we send you, and what we never send

What the platform does

Applications of every shape — a client-side tool, one with its own database, one with its own end-user accounts — are built, previewed privately and, after our review, published publicly at an address you can send people to. The home page sets that out in full.

If you have an account and something is wrong, write to support@runmyb.com. For anything about your personal data, write to privacy@runmyb.com. To report abusive or illegal content, write to abuse@runmyb.com or see the report-a-problem page.
